Youth Works with Local Ministries and Visits Shut-in Members
Did you know that during Disciple Now weekend, the youth participatedin seven local service projects andvisited four shut-in members of NRBC? The ministries theyserved are:
K.C. Rescue Mission
City Union Mission
Salvation Army
Hillcrest
Hope Lodge of Kansas City
New Horizons Center
Women’s Clinic/Lifeguard Development
Take time to encourage these young people when you see them in the halls. God is doing great things in the NRBC youth ministry. Thanks students. We appreciate you!!!
Hope Lodge
A group spent the evening of March 4 at Hope Lodge ministering to cancer patients and their families. This was a fun night of food, fellowship, and bingo. Watch for the next opportunity to serve – you will be blessed.

Bible Study Class Assists Local Ministry Partner
The Grace Messenger Sunday School class is supplying snacks for seven weeks to clients attending parenting classes at the Kansas City Women’s Clinic.

Youth and adult sponsors will travel to Harmons Jamaica again this summer to work with Won-by-One to Jamaica.

July 13-19 The Journey
We are still waiting for final details on a sports camps in West Chester PA, working with David Pearson at The Journey. If you are interested in this trip and did not attend the February 24 meeting, please contact Katie Schoneboom or Tracy Strifler. (National Global Focus Effort)
