 Project Linus

Project Linus is a national organization whose mission is "to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”
The blankets this group make go to hospitals, foster homes, and other places around the KC metro.
This group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 10am-noon.  NRBC provides all materials and sewing machines but you do need to provide your own basic sewing supplies (scissors, seam ripper, etc.)  Contact Beth Whorton at the Church Office for more information.
