GF National

National (our Judea and Samaria)

The National Global Focus Team is responsible for mission partnerships and projects in Missouri (outside the greater Kansas City area) and the rest of the United States. Following are national ministries and how you can get involved:

In His Rein Ministries/Kersey Cowboy Church strives to share the gospel message with cowboys, cowgirls, farmers, ranchers, those who love the country way of life, and all others who cross their path. They are members of the Fellowship of Christian Cowboys and are active in many Rodeo Bible Camps and FCC church services. NRBC hopes to participate in another Rodeo Bible Camp June 15-18, 2009, in Rifle CO. Opportunities to serve could include being camp counselors to a group of kids, cooking and serving meals, or child care for preschooler’s. (NRBC Champion - Katie Schoneboom)

The Journey, West Chester PAwww.thejourneywc.org

The Journey, a new church plant, exists to meet people where they are and bring them to an encounter with Christ. The mission of The Journey is demonstrated in E5 = E1 Encounter God; E2 Experience Community; E3 Express Praise; E4 Equip to Serve; and E5 Exist for Others. We will continue to work toward assisting The Journey with a sports camp, possibly the summer of 2009. Both adults and youth could participate. (NRBC Champion needed for this ministry)

One-day Mission Trips

The National Team provides opportunities for one-day mission trips within Missouri. These are usually construction trips, and quite often through Missouri Baptist Builders. These trips are open to adults, youth, and families; skilled and unskilled workers are needed.  (NRBC Champion - Tracy Strifler)

Disaster Relief

The NRBC disaster relief team is always on call to be notified of disaster relief opportunities. This could include mass feeding, chain saw, or mud-out; depending on the disaster effort official disaster relief training may be required to participate. (NRBC Champion - Martin Coleman)
