Children are a gift from the Lord, and at NRBC we take extra interest to implement programs that develop and enhance the lives of our youngest members. The children's ministry is divided into two age groups: preschool and elementary.

The safety of your children is important to us and all workers in our preschool and children's areas have had a background check.  Since the safety and security of our children is so important, in addition to worker screening, the Preschool ministry uses strict procedures for parent/child identification and notification. Parents of infants are provided with pagers in case of emergency.  Loving caregivers are available during Sunday morning and Wednesday night services, as well as for special events as indicated in the bulletin.

Sunday morning preschool times are structured to provide a combination of supervised playtime and age-appropriate Bible teaching. The classes use Christian based curriculum that may be reviewed by parents upon request. Additionally, all preschoolers are involved in a large-group opening time during the 9:45 Bible study hour that includes singing, story-telling and games.

Preschoolers (ages 3-PreK) are invited to join a special choir on Wednesday nights during the school year beginning at 6:15 PM. Even little hands and voices can be used to praise God!  Child care is available for preschoolers under 3.
