Kim Rice, Financial Secretary
I began my church ministry in the area of music. I began playing piano at Blue Summit Baptist Church at the age of twelve and served as their pianist for 25 years! I then served at Cross Creek Baptist Mission, playing for 8 years. I began my church finance work around the age of 25 at Blue Summit Baptist Church and became the Financial Director and Accountant for Cross Creek Baptist Mission. My goal through church accounting ministry is to provide the best and most accurate accounting that I can for the church. It’s a very specialized field that requires a lot of patience and detailed thinking. It’s important for the congregation to have a sense of security in the financial aspect of their church and because of that, I strive for my work to be error free in all aspects. Some days it’s anything but fun, but I thank the Lord daily that he has given me this opportunity to provide my service to Noland Road Baptist Church.
I live in Grain Valley with my husband and two daughters. Before we lived in Grain Valley, we lived in Independence for 15 years. I was born and raised in Kansas City and attended Kansas City East High School. I graduated from UMKC with a degree in accounting. I am a licensed CPA in the State of Missouri as well.
Kim can be reached in the office during regular office hours or at e-mail prefix "krice".
